A new high-end evening wear company seeks an energetic, responsible and detail oriented intern who will commit ideally three to five days a week. As an intern you will have hands on experience and learn what goes into introducing a new evening wear line into the market. If you are creative and like to work hard for something with results that show, this will be a great experience.
As an intern your responsibilities may include tasks such as:
• Assembling mood boards
• Redrafting and cutting patterns
• Organize fabric and preparing swatch cards
• Hand and machine sewing
• Photographing garments
• Assembling portions of tech-packs (Please have knowledge of Photoshop)
• Work with sample garments/muslins (Garment construction knowledge is a plus)
Intern will be given a small stipend.
